How far in advance should we book you as our elopement photographer?
I can help plan your elopement in as little as a few weeks, but ideally, we like to plan between 12-18 months in advance. Booking early also helps ensure I'm available on your preferred date.
How many hours do we need for our Elopement?
Most of my elopements range between 6 to 10 hours, but the right amount of coverage depends on your vision, how many locations you want to explore, how many guests you’re inviting (if any), and what kind of experiences you want to include.
Half-day coverage (up to 6 hours) works great for a relaxed adventure with a few key moments and locations.
Full-day coverage (10+ hours) is ideal if you want both sunrise and sunset, multiple locations, or more breathing room throughout the day.
Two-day coverage is perfect for couples who want to combine different types of experiences, like a full day with guests and another day for just the two of you, or for exploring multiple regions that can’t all be done in one day.
Whatever you envision, I’ll help you build the perfect timeline to match it.
How much hiking do couples do?
YOU DON’T NEED TO HIKE TO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL ELOPEMENT DAY
Just because it’s called an “adventure elopement” doesn’t mean it has to include hiking. What makes an elopement truly adventurous is the intention behind the experience, not how far you walk.
If you're up for a hike, we can plan something mellow, usually no more than 2–3 miles each way. But if you'd rather keep things low-key, there are plenty of stunning, easily accessible spots that still bring those epic views.
This day is about creating unforgettable memories, not breaking a sweat (unless you want to).
